Trinity Green Investments filed plans with the Boston Redevelopment Authority August 29 to build a three story, 34-foot tall building with 52 studios at 123 Hamilton St, in Dorchester’s Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood. The building will be leased to the Pine Street Inn to house homeless people. In addition to the studios, 400 square foot administrative suite and 1,319 square feet of common and community space will be included.
The 22,602 square foot site is currently occupied by a dilapidated, single story commercial building. Eight parking spaces will be included. The site is on the routes of the 15 bus from Kane Square or Field’s Corner to Ruggles Station and the 17, from Field’s Corner to Andrew Station.
Six zoning variances will be required: for parking, floor-area-ratio, being a multi-family building and insufficient setbacks.
